Get Starlink service credit
Haven't bought your Mini yet? Order it straight from Starlink through our referral link and Starlink credits your new account. Only brand-new Starlink customers qualify, and kits bought from a shop (JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks and the like) don't count. Starlink sets the plans and credit amount, so check the offer on their order page.

Sign out of any existing Starlink account, then open the referral link (or starlink.com).

Enter your service address and click Get started.

On the next page scroll down past the plans and click "Already got your Starlink? Click here".

Enter the KIT number from the Starlink Mini box (or the serial number on the back of the dish; leave out "S/N:").
Phone tip
Drop the leading 0 and type +61, e.g. 0412 345 678 becomes +61 412 345 678. A number starting 04 throws an error.

Finish the prompts, power up, and pair it in the Starlink app.

Keep your Starlink bill down
Prices from Starlink Australia, June 2026. Check the Starlink app for current pricing.
- Parked at home between trips? Switch to Standby (about $15/month). It keeps your account alive with low-speed data for messages, Wi-Fi calls, email and maps while stationary. It won't work while driving (cuts out above 16 km/h) and won't stream video.
- Downgrades start at your next bill date; upgrades start straight away (you only pay the difference). So downgrade to Standby when you get home, and upgrade the morning you leave.
- Billing dates run on UTC time, so change plans a day early rather than at the last minute.
- Roam 100GB doesn't cut you off at 100GB, it slows to about 0.5 Mbps until the next bill.
- On Residential Max at home? Your Mini gets 50% off Roam plans.

- Give it a clear view of the sky.
- Check for obstructions with the Starlink app's Check for Obstructions tool before you drill anything.
- Keep the dish face clean.
