Kettle Customs was founded by two mates with a shared passion for 4x4 touring, and fabrication. What started as building custom setups for our own GU Patrol Utes has grown into a full-time operation, driven by the same hands-on approach and commitment to doing things properly.

We’re now based in Somerville, Victoria, operating out of our dedicated workshop equipped with industry-standard machinery — including a Bystronic Xpress 160 press brake and a 6kW HSG fibre laser cutter. These tools give us full in-house control over the manufacturing process, allowing us to produce consistent, high-quality components with precision.

Our builds are all designed using CAD software from the ground up. Every tray, canopy, or accessory is digitally modelled before fabrication, ensuring accurate fitment and functionality — whether we’re working from one of our core designs or developing something entirely custom. This process allows us to adapt layouts, integrate customer-specific features, and offer flexible configurations that suit a wide range of practical needs.

At the core of Kettle Customs is a focus on functionality and durability. We don’t believe in off-the-shelf, one-size-fits-all products. Instead, we work closely with each customer to understand how their vehicle is used — whether it’s for touring, trade, or a bit of both — and tailor each build to suit.

We’re also committed to continually improving our product range. New designs and accessories are always in the pipeline, tested on our own vehicles before they’re made available to customers. This approach keeps us hands-on, innovative, and grounded in real-world use.
